Building Section
A Building Development Application is required to be submitted to a Building Certifier for most building works undertaken within the Council area. An application usually consists of the appropriate Application Forms, plans, reports and the relevant application fee.
Once the relevant information is collated you may lodge these details together with the application fees to the relevant Council Customer Service Centre as follows:-
- If you are lodging an application within the former Gladstone Local Government Area, then the application should be lodged at the Customer Service Centre in Goondoon Street, Gladstone.
- If you are lodging an application within the former Calliope Local Government Area, then the application should be lodged at the Customer Service Centres at either Don Cameron Drive, Calliope, Boyne Tannum Community Centre, Boyne Island or the Mt Larcom Rural Transaction Centre.
- If you are lodging an application within the former Miriam Vale Local Government Area, then the application should be lodged at either the Customer Service Centres, in Roe Street, Miriam Vale or the Agnes Waters Rural Transaction Centre.
Building Inspection requests must be received 48 hours prior to the time required.
