Bray Park Pontoon

The Bray Park Pontoon Project was managed by the Boyne Tannum Hook-up Association on behalf of Gladstone Regional Council (formally Calliope Shire Council). The Pontoon has been constructed to ease congestion at the Bray Park boat ramp and to provide a safe area in which boat users can embark and disembark while waiting for vehicle access to the boat ramp. It also provides easier access for disabled persons.

The majority of funds were supplied by the Boyne Tannum Hook-up Association with the remainder being supplied by Queensland Transport and Australian Government Recreational Fishing Community Grants Programme. The project commenced in April 2008 and was completed by end of May 2008.

The Floating Pontoon can be found at Bray Park on Wyndham Avenue, Boyne Island.
